About Vijay Akkineni

With 18 years of experience, Dr Vijay is both a FACEM Emergency Specialist and a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) — a combination that gives him a well-rounded approach to acute care. After training in remote areas, he is now based in Brisbane and bringing his expertise to Fast Track Urgent Care Clinic.
Dr Vijay has a keen interest in acute medicine and enjoys the variety and challenge that comes from working across both emergency and general practice settings. Our patients have benefited from his thorough investigations and caring attributes, all done with a smile on his face.
