As Emergency Departments and Emergency GP face increasing demands on their service, it may be hours before you will be seen.
Urgent Care facilities at our clinic in Brisbane were designed to allow the Emergency Departments and 24 hours doctors in Brisbane to focus on serious and life-threatening conditions. According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare1, in 2020-21, 47% of presentations to emergency departments – just over 4 million visits – were either semi-urgent or non-urgent. That’s just over 4 million patients who could have been treated by doctors and nurses outside of the ED, ideally at an Urgent Care facility.
Our Urgent Care Clinics in Brisbane will be open during extended business hours – from 10am to 9pm, seven days a week. Due to the walk-in premise of Urgent Care, no appointments will be necessary. Our clinics feature state of the art facilities, an experienced team of Nurses and Doctors and next door access to imaging services so that we can best respond to the needs of the community.
